Description

Introduction to anthropology through in-depth analysis of a contemporary or historical problem. Topics include environment and climate change; law, politics and inequality; migration; gender, sexuality and kinship; film and new media; subjectivity and ritual.
  • Register for AFYR 101/102 and a foundation seminar OR a writing seminar (not both).
  • Available only to registered participants in the Bachelor of Arts Foundation Year Program Pilot (https://www.mcgill.ca/arts-foundation-pilot/).
