Description

A critical examination of the increasing global consumption of sandresources and the human-caused changes and impact on sediment dynamics, landscape evolution, ecological processes in freshwater ecosystem and conservation biology.
  • Prerequisites: GEOG 272 or BIOL 206 or EPSC 355 or permission of the instructor.
  • Restrictions: Not open to students who have taken or are taking GEOG 438. Not open to students who have taken GEOG 407 in winter 2025 under the topic: Sand in the Anthropocene.
