Description
Introduction to astrobiology, defined as the scientific study of the origin, evolution, distribution and destiny of life in the universe. Includes interdisciplinary lectures in prebiotic chemistry, extremophilic microorganisms, analog sites, habitability, astrodynamics, experimental facilities and instrumentation for space experiments and missions, and recent results from orbital and lander missions.
