Description
Introduction into concepts and characteristics of electromagnetic (EM) fields interacting with the body, from theory through practice. Electromagnetic properties of biological tissues, safety considerations, electrode- and antenna-based measurements, and existing and emerging medical technologies.
- Prerequisite(s): MATH 262 and MATH 263 and (ECSE 353 or ECSE 354 or PHYS 242) or permission of the instructor.
