Description

The law of corporate governance. Examination of central questions of governance, including several key debates: shareholder and stakeholder theory, shareholder democracy, and especially diversity in corporate governance. Voluntary and mandated diversity measures in Canada, the United States, Europe, and elsewhere. How social science has influenced regulation.
  • Restrictions: Not open to students who have taken LAWG 539 when topic was "Corporate Governance".
