Description
Introduction to the principles and practice of professional translation, research techniques and sources of documentation. Translation of a variety of general and semi-specialized texts from English to French, or from French to English.
- Restrictions: Open to students enrolled in the Graduate Diploma in Legal Translation or with departmental approval.
- This is a bi-directional translation course. Students will submit assignments in their target language, either English or French.
- Course includes synchronous and asynchronous activities.
- A minimum grade of B- is required to pass this course.
