Description

Introduction to catalytic processes for the production of sustainable fuels and chemicals. Topics: From fossil fuel to renewable fuel. Syngas vs. platform route. Biomass upgrading. Renewable natural gas. CO2 as chemical building block. Theory of photo- and electro-catalysis.

  • Prerequisites: CHEE 204 and CHEE 310 or permission of instructor.
  • Course open to U3 Chemical Engineering undergraduate students and graduate students in Chemical Engineering.
