Description
Durability-related deterioration mechanisms relevant to construction materials with an emphasis on promoting sustainability in the construction industry. Portland cement concrete, asphalt cement concrete, masonry, steel, wood, and fibre reinforced composites. Factors affecting durability, service life prediction, diagnosis, remediation, and protective measures. Introduction to relevant standards, specifications, guides, and design codes.
