Description

Survey of economic development. The evolution of economic institutions and the process of economic growth. Topics include demographic change, agrarian institutions, financial and industrial organization, technological change and the expansion of trade and markets.
  • Corequisites: ECON 208 and ECON 209 or ECON 230D1/D2 or ECON 250D1/D2.
  • Restrictions: Not open to students who have taken ECON 201 or ECON 221D1/D2.
