Description
Development of an exemplary thematic unit that implements an empirically-proven model for form-focused, communicative teaching for English language teachers targeting grammar, reading, writing, listening and speaking. Exploration of methods of balancing classroom realities with empirically based prescriptions for communicative teaching. Enhancing the use of literacy texts to develop students’ communicative competence. Use of the Noticing-Awareness-Practice model for integrating focus on form instruction into communicative teaching.
