Description

A study of issues relating to literature and gender. The role of gender in literary works has been examined by anumerous waves of feminist scholarship as well as newer forms of queer and trans theory. Focus is on specific works and exposes levels of meaning through application of a variety of gender-related analytical frameworks. Introduction to theoretical commentaries.
  • This is a slot course. Topic will vary from year to year or vary by semester as appropriate.
