Description

Operational issues of questionnaire design, sampling, contact and recruitment of respondents and preparation for analysis that will enhance response rates and minimize errors in data collected by surveys. The content will be highly relevant for those who anticipate having a survey as part of their current or future research program.
  • Prerequisite: Permission of instructor
  • Restriction(s): Not open to students who have taken FMED 503. Priority to students registered in the MSc in Family Medicine and ad hoc PhD in Family Medicine programs.
  • Five 3-hour classes offered in English, knowledge of French will be helpful. Knowledge of basic statistics is assumed.
  • **Due to the intensive nature of this course, the standard add/drop and withdrawal deadlines do not apply. Add/drop is the second lecture day and withdrawal is the third lecture day.
