Description
Introduction to selected topics and genres in twentieth century literature and culture.
- Topic for 2004-05: Wiener Moderne. Through the examination of some key works of the literature of this period, as well as impulses from the world of music, arts, and social thought, this course will attempt to recreate some of the legendary atmosphere of fin-de-siécle Vienna.
- Prerequisite: GERM 325 or equivalent
