Description
This course will provide students with an overview of the fundamental principles of medical genetics. Topics will include gene structure and function, inheritance patterns, molecular genetics, population genetics, genetic epidemiology, prenatal diagnosis, developmental genetics and birth defects, cancer, pharmacogenomics, treatment, and ethical and public policy issues.
