Description
The history and culture of the Hellenistic period, from the Age of Alexander to the rise of the successor kingdoms and their interactions with Rome; discusses the
development of a new sense of globality and its impact on the local horizon of cities across the Mediterranean and beyond.
- Prerequisite(s): 3 credits in Ancient history at the 300-level or permission of instructor.
- Restrictions: Not open to students who have taken HIST 407 in winter 2015 or winter 2017.
