Archival descriptive tools in metadata-based accesssystems. Metadata schemas (MARC, Dublin Coreand EAD), markup languages (SGML, HTML, andXML), DTD, vocabulary control, and metadatamanagement issues.
  • Restrictions: Not open to students who have taken GLIS 609.
