Description

Topics in word formation (morphology) and sentence formation (syntax) in specific Indigenous languages. Linguistic principles relevant to grammatical phenomena in Indigenous languages, and principles of language structure, grammatical categories, and grammatical analysis. Practical applications in producing and understanding words and sentences.
  • Prerequisite: LING 230
  • Language(s) of focus may vary depending on instructor.
