Description

Introduction to the script and sounds of modern standard Arabic and its basic vocabulary and structure, placing emphasis on the functional use of the language.
  • Students who participate at this level have no previous knowledge of the language or have a basic cultural or home connection to Arabic.
  • Prerequisite: Department placement test, instructor approval.
