Crystal structure, deformation characteristics, strengthening and softening mechanisms, hot and cold working. Microstructure property relationships in aluminum alloys. Physical metallurgy of aluminum casting alloys and their uses. Properties, and physical metallurgy of aluminum wrought alloys and their industrial applications.
