Description
Repertoire composed and/or performed by women since 1920, with a focus on North America and women's participation in music in a variety of roles. Special attention will be paid to the different challenges faced by women of different races and classes, in both avant-garde and popular music traditions.
- Restrictions: Open to all undergraduate students except those in a B.Mus. or L.Mus. program; not open to students who have taken MUAR 250.
