Description
Fundamental concepts of jazz vocal improvisation and its use and application in standard jazz repertoire, with an emphasis on ear training, performance, harmonic analysis, language development and applied musicianship. Classic and contemporary jazz standard repertoire will be the focus.
- Prerequisite: MUJZ 325
- Restriction: Open only to students in a Major in Performance Jazz program.
- Passing grade of prerequisite(s) is B-.
