Description

Introduction to the nursing profession and to a nurse’s scope of practice. Exploration of the nursing history of healthcare in Canada, the history of nursing and of the strengths-based nursing and healthcare (SBNH) approach. Exploration of nursing concepts with a focus on how the approach can be applied to professional practice.
  • Corequisite: IPEA 500
  • Restriction: Not open to U0 students.
  • A fee of $25.56 for two name pins will be charged based on registration in this course.
