Description
An exploration of how families cope with the transition of expected and unexpected life events with a focus on the essential qualities of the nursing therapeutic relationship and the impact it has on individual/family outcomes, including strength-based nursing care. Integration of family-centered, health-centered and collaborative care. Nurses’ strengths of mindset, knowledge and knowing, relationships and advocacy. Values, beliefs and attitudes in relation to parenting, breast-feeding, role acquisition and mental health.
