Description
Examination of the role of the nurse educator in healthcare settings and academia. Focus on application of theoretical and evidence-based approaches to education and exploration of how individuals learn and develop within the nursing profession. Development of educational approaches that promote student learning in face-to-face, hybrid, simulated and online learning environments. Emphasis on course design and development process, teaching and facilitation, student assessments, the evaluation of education activities and critical reflection and dialogue to support development of educational leadership.
