Description

This course will focus on teaching the principles of assessment and evidence-informed management of chronic and acute wounds in the clinical and community setting. Wound infections, debridement, wound care products, compression, trauma and other types of chronic and complex wounds will be covered along with appropriate treatment options for general and special populations such as neonatal, pediatric, palliative and obese.
  • **Due to the intensive nature of this course, the standard add/drop and withdrawal deadlines do not apply. Add/drop is May 16th and withdrawal is May 21st.
