Description
Advanced nursing knowledge and skills, within the scope of practice of a mental-health nurse practitioner, in the assessment and management of medical illness and somatic symptoms in psychiatry and to introduce basic psychotherapy concepts. Recognition of the pathology associated with these conditions and development of longitudinal management plans that encompass biopsychosocial understanding of the conditions and address urgent and emergency situations.

- Restrictions: Not open to students who have taken NUR2 694.
