Description

Exploration of the economic and political behaviour of one of the most important non-state actors in the international system: multinationals. The main models in international trade, including the New New Trade Theory. The main issues related to the political economy of foreign direct investment (FDI). The impact of FDI on development as well as the role of MNCs in emerging markets.
  • Prerequisite: POLI 311 or permission of the instructor
  • The field is International Relations.
