Description
How people in contemporary North America use traditional religious concepts and rituals, scientific understandings and medical procedures, or innovative combinations of both, to cope with, and make sense of, the concept of death. Exploration of how culture, politics, and other societal infrastructure interact in/through the bodily fact of death.
