Description
Explores the global nature of Christianity. Examines the roots of the rapid growth of Christianity in the Global South and the influence of its 2 billion adherents around
the world. Considers the variety of forms of the Christian faith around the world, including historic denominations, Pentecostalism, and other new forms of the faith.
Particular attention to African, Asian, and Latin American forms of Christianity, and their relationship to developments in Europe and North America. Key themes
include migration, modernity, politics, gender and sexuality, and globalization.
