Description

Canonical changes, literary alterations, translation techniques, hermeneutical strategies, variant readings, and textual histories of the books of the Hebrew Bible as evidenced in the ancient versions, primarily the Septuagint. (No knowledge of Greek or Hebrew is required.)
  • Prerequisites: One of RELG 202, 302 or JWST 211, 327, 328, 329, 330.
