Description

This research-oriented seminar critically analyses key-questions from the field of pre-modern Japanese Buddhism. By engaging with recent research, students are expected to adopt an interdisciplinary approach and address questions and methodologies from both History and Buddhist Studies.
  • Prerequisites: RELG 344, or RELG 451, or permission of the instructor.
  • Note: Taught in alternate years.
