The design thinking process and its application to our professional/personal lives, leading to better, more innovative solutions. Methods from engineering and design, combination of ideas from the arts, tools from social sciences, and insights from the business world. How to build creative confidence. Tools to help define problem statements and design challenges, empathize with the users, develop new ideas, and prototype and test the designs.
- Restrictions: Not open to students who have taken RETL 661 when topic was "Design Thinking".
