Description

Exploration of literary and cinematic representations of the themes of memory, trauma, nostalgia, family history, and war in modern Russian culture. Exploration of narrative approaches to war and trauma, their effects on cultural identity, Post-Soviet nostalgia, family and childhood, and related subjects.
