Description

How is political participation, representation, and mobilization within existing democracies gendered? This course provides an introduction to social scientific literature on gender and politics. Using theoretical and empirical work in sociology, political science, and history, this course helps students identify gender disparities in political processes and debate their causes.
  • Prerequisite: SOCI 210
