Description
An experiential learning approach to service providers’ use of self in interactions with service users (individuals, families, and communities), social service institutions, and the socio-political structures that shape institutions and service provision. Theoretical frameworks include critical social work, anti-oppressive and culturally responsive practice, and transformative healing. Topics include attachment theory, internal family systems, embodied practice, and transference.
