Description
Audience, purpose, organization, and style of graduate-level academic writing with attention to mechanics, textual analysis, critical thinking and editing skills. Common rhetorical patterns to organize research writing, including problem-solution, general-specific, process description, data commentary, article summary/critique.
- Restriction: Not open to students who have taken CESL 690.
- For graduate students only
- **Due to the condensed nature of this course, the standard add/drop, and withdrawal deadlines do not apply. Add/drop is the second lecture day and withdrawal with financial penalty is the fourth lecture day.
