Education for Arts Students
About Education for Arts Students
The Minor Concentration in Education allows Arts students to develop and deepen their understanding of education as a broad and dynamic field of study. It provides a solid foundation in the philosophical and psychological dimensions of education with opportunities to pursue broader perspectives on educational theory, practice, and contemporary issues. Students who wish to apply for the minor must first review important information and procedures on the Faculty of Education website.
Completion of the Minor concentration does not qualify a student for certification to teach in the province of Quebec. Students interested in a teaching career should consult Undergraduate Education program offerings, or Integrated Studies in Education for graduate program information.
