Faculty Admission Requirements

Prospective High School, CEGEP, and University Transfer Applicants

To view admission requirements and deadlines for the Bachelor of Science, please refer to the Undergraduate Admissions Guide. Admission review is managed by McGill's central Admissions Office in Enrolment Services, not by the Faculty of Science.

When applying, students must select a Program Group on the application form (admission requirements may vary based on Program Group selection). If admitted, your selection will determine the range of programs you will be able to choose from for your Science degree. Consult the Faculty of Science website for information on Program Groups.

Once admitted to a Program Group, students who wish to change groups may apply for an Intrafaculty Transfer only after completion of 1 year at McGill. Applications for intrafaculty transfer are competitive and depend on space available.
