Description
A full-semester capstone practicum undertaken in the context of a community organization, mentored research activity or an internship with an international or local public health agency, focusing on a relevant global health-related issue, and skills in professional conduct, team work, effective communication and knowledge translation.
- Prerequisites: GPHL 301, GPHL 303
- Restriction(s): Open to students in a Population and Global Health undergraduate program.
- The host organization requires the instructor’s approval. Students are responsible for paying for their travel costs which include food and lodging. However travel grants will be sought to help offset the costs.
