Description
Information societies are examined from a global perspective, emphasizing political, economic, social cultural and ethical issues including the roles of
government and the private sector in providing information systems and services, transborder data flow, information access at personal, institutional and
national level, censorship, copyright and data security.
- Prerequisite: INFS 601 and GLIS 601.
- Not open to students who have taken GLIS 690.
