Description

The lives and contributions of famous female Muslim mystics. Historical and literary analysis of gender discourse in male-authored representations of these mystical Sufi women, as well as developments in theologies of the cosmic feminine in Sufi philosophical texts.
  • Prerequisites: ISLA 200
  • Restrictions: Not open to students who have taken ISLA 305 when the topic was: "Sufi Women".
