Program Description
The Minor in Geochemistry focuses on the chemistry of Earth’s lithosphere, its reactivity in contact with the atmosphere and/or the hydrosphere, and the chemistry of extra-terrestrial materials.
The appropriate background in chemistry is required: (CHEM 110 General Chemistry 1. and CHEM 120 General Chemistry 2., or their equivalent) and calculus (MATH 139 Calculus 1 with Precalculus. and MATH 141 Calculus 2., or their equivalent).
