Students registering in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences will be expected to matriculate with the Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ) before September 30 of the first year of their medical studies. This includes the verification of any security/criminal dossier (CMQ site in French only). Students registered in the undergraduate medical education program may be required to provide other training sites a declaration of any security or criminal record during their medical training. The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences will request the withdrawal from the Faculty of any student who does not meet the registration conditions set forth by the Collège des médecins du Québec.
Note: Students may also be required by the hospitals affiliated with some Canadian and or American universities to produce a criminal background check when applying for clinical elective rotations.
